I personally think it's pseudoscience. if data was provided to support this claim (given all the variables) perhaps only then should the government provide working mothers with 12 months full maternity pay? Men have strayed since the beginning of human relationships. As have women. Religion and social constraints impose unnatural habits upon humans. This is the key.
